Cotton is a soft fiber grows in a boll it is native to tropical and sub tropical regions around the world it is the most important fiber because it is used to make clothes and number of textile products. It was first cultivated around 7000 years ago in Mehrgarh which was part of British India but now in Pakistan and between 1000 to 2000 BC cotton became widespread across much of India. The plant of cotton needs full sunshine to grow frost can damage the quality and quantity of cotton, it is harvested mechanically in most countries by a machine called cotton picker but in some low develop countries people harvest cotton traditionally by using man power. A report said that world is producing about 25 million tons of cotton every year and among all those countries China is a leading country in production.
